Laid Back Lounge & Hallway Design
Liverpool, UK
Moving into a new home is no doubt one of the most exciting times of one’s life, but it’s also overwhelming with the number of choices you have to make. For this project we have consulted on everything relating to the ground floor of the space…layout, colours, fabrics, finishes and of course room designs.
We’ve taken the weight off our client’s shoulders to create an inviting, laid back entrance into a light and airy formal lounge room.
This project was a Blank Slate with a Quick Fix on the hallway.

At the end of our creative direction discussions, we've landed on neutral tones with earthy accents. The fabrics we chose were thick piled to bring some cozyness into the room. We went with F&B pain across the whole home to bring consistency across the rooms.

For the formal lounge we've opted for an airy look with some darker accents to ground the room down. Different materials were chosen to add interest and bring harmony at the same time by sticking to the same colour scheme.

No room is complete without its accessories. We went with contrasting shapes and organic curves.

We've also designed two built in alcove units with storage for either side of the fireplace and supplied accessories for the styling of the shelves. So really the full package!

Finally, the most important space of a home: the hallway! Light and airy but still interesting enough to feel inviting. Beyond good design, functionality was also key for a household with two young kids.
