“We thought hiring an interior designer would be a struggle, but our experience with Felicia has been the dream! She listened to what we wanted and completely understood what we were looking for. She made the whole process just easy and enjoyable, so much so that we plan to work with her on the rest of our house!”

Scottish Home Project
Kirkaldy, Scotland, UK
This project was particularly interesting because the home had a significant historical heritage, gorgeous wall and ceiling mouldings and architectural features. But it also came with a lot of inherited history over the multiple owners of the house.
The clients were a family of four with two young children, so the designs would not only have to be kid friendly but also respect the heritage of the home by still modernising it. This is why the items we used had to be a good mix between vintage & new, lived in & contemporary.
The living room & the study have completely changed with the Blank Slate package.

The clients had an existing gray sofa that they wanted to keep, so we have built this room around it. By adding some small touches that alluded to the Scottish heritage of the couple, adding multiple textures and patterns, we have created a cosy living room. The Hague Blue walls by Farrow and Ball have added some extra level of moodiness into the space.

We have sourced vintage elements like the cabinet & some antique pots to create a space that felt lived in. Items that would 'age well' was the key to create this living room in the client's forever home.

For the study room, we have opted for the Duck Green by Farrow & Ball to keep the moodiness, and have used a selection of wooden furniture with woven accents. Walnut blinds have also been added to the final design.

The clients wanted to keep existing carpets & desk, so we have added a rustic chest with industrial metal details, and combined them with matching shelves to create some additional dimension.
