No doubt, one of the most exciting times in our lives is the build up time to a new home, especially if it’s being built in front of your eyes! The clients in this project were wanting to design their home before they move in, so it was literally a Blank Slate.
We’ve tackled multiple rooms together: the living room, master bedroom, nursery, office and the entrance hall. The consistency across rooms was crucial, and they wanted a very light and Scandinavian feel to their home.
Every room was a Blank Slate except for the entrance hall being a Quick Fix due to the size of the space.

The living room had beautiful oak flooring so we opted for lighter furniture to keep the airy feel. We've added some contrasting metal & iron accessories, along with some abstract art to complement the modern look and feel.

A big 6m wall was facing the sofa, for which we have created different zones. They also wanted to incorporate their little one into the living room, for which we have added a small table & chairs that would complement the legs of the seating and the rest of the furniture.

For the master bedroom, we went for a bit more contrast and moodiness to prepare the body for a good night's sleep. Darker wood tones were chosen on light carpet, combined with some eclectic pieces of accessories.

The wallpaper chosen steals the show in the bedroom as the accent wall behind the bed. Combined with darker tones of wood and a lighter boucle bed frame, this space will just take you in.

The nursery was designed as a space that the baby could grow into. This is why we went with a toddler bed and light accessories that can evolve over time.

A reading corner with floor cushions and a wall bookshelf was created to overcome the challenge of space.

The spacious study room had a dual function: work and storage. We went for darker hues on the walls to promote concentration, but used full length mirrors to reflect light and contrasting window treatments.

The backdrop of the desk was this beautiful bookshelf with sculptural ornaments and plants. Who needs an artificial zoom background?

The welcoming area of the house was designed to be light and inviting. This then was carried through the living room.
